Newspapers are a print medium, usually a by-product of the set of activities called journalism. The main features of a newspaper are: the use of "newsprint" - cheaper and of lower quality than those used by other printed materials; language itself - into what is meant by journalistic language, and is a means of communication mass - a cultural asset that is consumed by the masses. Newspapers have generic content, for publishing news and reviews covering the most diverse social interests. However, there are also newspapers with expert content in economics, business or sports, among others. The frequency of the most common is the daily newspapers, but there are also those with weekly, biweekly and monthly. The newspaper was the first - and for a long time, the main space - professional activity of journalism.
