As you will see is that when you have the right tools everyone can replace just the glass instead of the Digitizer, the LCD and the Glass (which is in my opinion even harder to replace). This repair is alot cheaper than buying the LCD and digitizer parts which are over 180 euro in the Netherlands (where I come from). You can order every tool on Amazon.com or on Dx.com for a total of 35 euro. Excluding shipping cost (approx 40 Dollars). Step 1: Get the following items: cleaning cloth (like you use for your glasses), the plastic tools to remove glue on the LCD, The new gorilla glass screen, 1 mm thick doublesided glue, a hairdryer and the battery to test it. - the cleaning cloth I used was from my dads glasses (specsavers) - A toolkit which include the plastic tools - http://dx.com/p/16-in-1-steel-precisi... - The Gorilla glass I bought - http://dx.com/p/genuine-replacement-f... or this new fancy pink one:P http://dx.com/p/replacement-front-pan... - The doublesided tape I used - http://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Digiti... Step 2: Look for any pieces of glass on the sides and on the LCD, remove those with the plastic tools or with some soft paper. Step 3: Put the battery away from the heat to make sure it won't damage Step 4: See if there is any glue on the LCD, if there is carefully remove it with your cleaning cloth or plastic tools Step 5: Heat the LCD a bit if there is alot of glue left with a hairdryer. Step 6: Remove all the glue on the sides to get a flat underground Step 7: Use the doublesided tape which u put on the sides and a tiny bit under the back/option button to stick. Step 8: Remove the plastic on the new screen and make sure its clean, otherwise use a bit of spiritus or a magic towel/cleaning cloth to remove the dust, fingerprints etc. Step 9: Place the new glass by heating the LCD once more to soften the glue a bit. Step 10: Press hard to make sure the glass is on the LCD so the touchscreen will work. Keep pressing it for 5-10 minutes. Step 11: place the battery and simcard and test the phone. Use the shortkeys *#self*## to test every sensor and death pixels of the phone. Congratulations you are done with the placing part! You can use every colour glass you would like, they all fit and it enhances the phone quite alot. Please like/subscribe, and comment if you got any questions! Thanks for watching!
